- Honestly, I almost won the lottery yesterday.
- I almost forgot to tell you ( 말하는걸 깜빡 할뻔 했다.)
- She was on diet but, she almost had a great dinner on weekdays.
Last Friday, I met one of my best friends from my hometown.
be + almost + state
- I'm almost done. (나 거의 다 끝났어)
- Are you done cleaning your room? / Yes, I'm almost finished.
- We're almost ready.
- I'm almost there.
My parents were almost finished preparing to leave this country.
Could have + p.p : 어떻게 될 수도 있었다 / 어떻게 할 수도 있었다.
- You shouldn't leave your phone on the table like this. Someone could've stolen it.
I don't know why but, it's fine leaving without your stuff at a cafe. However, you shouldn't leave like that abroad.
You could've lost yours if you were in my country.
