Announcing a New project

 

오늘도 첫 수업과 동일한 교체를 카톡으로 받았다.

매일 교재가 바뀌는 수업이 아닌가보다..

 

다시한번 복습해보자.

 

foothold : 발판

vital sign: 바이탈 사인, 활력 징후(사람이 살아 있음을 보여주는 호흡, 체온, 심장 박동 등의 측정치)

In the works: 진행중인

Groundwork to cover : 기초작업

Work around the clock: 밤낮없이 일하다.

 

 

- I'm working on the JIRA ticket. The issue is in the works.

- We have a lot of groundwork to cover.

- You have much groundwork when you just start to work at the company.

 

 

오늘 수업은 교재위주로 수업했다.

내일 주말인데 뭐하냐고 묻길래 이사를 가야해서 부동산을 갈 예정이라고 말했는데 real estate 라는 단어만 기억나고 그런 업체? 를 뭐라하는지 잘 모르겠어서 물어봤더니, Real estate agent 라고 하면 된다고 피드백을 줬다.

 

대충 이렇게 말하고 싶었다.

I'm going to visit real estate agents to see the next place I'll live.

The expiration of the current contract is in September so, it's time to look for a new apartment.

 

뭐 이런 얘기도 하고.. 주제가 프로젝트 관련 된 이야기었는데 현재 내가 하고있는 프로젝트에 관해 물어서

 

Currently, I'm working on a project to implement some software modules. I've been worked for it for 4 years.

Sometimes, we have troubles dealing with the deadline and my technical boss barely struggles with handling technical issues because the project manager doesn't understand why it's delayed.

 

이런 얘기도 나눴다.

 

좀 아직까지도 말이 정리가 안되고 두서가 없는게 아쉽다.

말하기가 급급해서 아무말이나 뱉는 것 같은데 .. 나름 이게 좋은점이 있으면서도 구조적인 말하기를 하는데는 많이 방해가 되는 것 같다.

 

계속 하다보면 늘겠지
