"코로나에 확진 되었다, 격리중이라서 회사를 못 나가고 있다" 를 영어로

오늘 전화영어 수업에서 아이스 브레이킹을 위해 간단히 스크립트를 정리해 봤습니다.

 

 

코로나에 확진되다. -->  I was confirmed with corona virus.

코로나 바이러스 확진 판정을 받았습니다.

 

Since the covid pendemic occurred, The company haven't allowed WFH for employees so, I've worked at the office but, one of my colleage around my desk was confirmed so I needed to do the test for COVID 19. 

코로나 펜데믹이 발생한 이후에도 회사가 재택근무를 허락하지 않았어요. 그래서 저는 사무실에서 일을 계속했는데 제 자리 주변에서 일하느 동료가 확진이 되었고 저도 코로나 검사가 필요했죠.

 

I tested on Tuesday, I was able to get the result directly at the otolaryngology clinic.

저는 화요일에 테스트를 했고 이비인후과에서 곧장 결과를 받을 수 있었어요.

 

그래서 격리중입니다. --> I've been in quarantine

 

So, I stopped to commute to the office and I've been in quarantine at home from Tuesday.

아무튼 그래서 사무실로 통근을 하지않고 화요일 부터 집에서 격리중에 있어요.

 

Actually, I didn't have any symptom thoguh. I think it's a kind of asymptomatic case.

사실, 저는 증상이 하나도 없는데요, 제 생각에는 무증상 케이스 것 같아요.

 

As the government guide, I should stay in my room for 7 days but the company's guide is 8 days. so,

I can go back to work next Friday.

정부 지침에 따르면 저는 집에서 7일간 머물러야 하는데 회사 지침이 8일이에요. 그래서 저는 다음주 수요일에나 출근이 가능합니다.

 

확진자가 증가하고 있어요 --> The number of confirmed cases is increasing

 

In Korea, the number of confirmed cases is extreamly increasing; it's about 6 hundred thousands so, it's quite hard to find a person who has never been infected.

한국에서 확진자가 엄청 증가하고 있어요. 거의 60만명에 달하고 있는데 주변에 감염되지 않은 사람을 찾기가 어려울 정도입니다.
