[파고다 전화영어] 영어 인터뷰 - What's your career goal?

 

 

오늘 수업 주제는 커리어에 대한 내용이다.

 

항상 수업을 하기 전에 어느정도 이미지 트레이닝을 해 둬야 조금 원활하게 대화를 나누는 것 같다.

 

물론.. 즉석해서 이런저런 얘기를 해도 문제는 없지만

그렇게 수업을 하고 나면

발전이 없는.. 그저 아는 표현만 반복하는 느낌이 아주 강하게 든다.

What is your career objective?

 

내 커리 목표는 개발자 및 SW Architecture 역량을 꾸준히 향상시켜 Tech-leader 가 되는 것이다.

이 회사가 아니더라도 괜찮고 매니저 역할 보다는 기술적인 일을 하고 싶다.

 

My career objective is tech-leader in a software development team. To achive this, I would like to work to resolve technical issues / problems as a software developer or engineer. 

 

Actually, It's not meant I have to be the tech-leader in current company I'm in.  Someday, I might have my own company.

 

What goals have you set for yourself?

 

For myself.. well.. I think being a good husband and father is the goal I always have.

I set the goal when I was in high school though, I'd forgot for a while to be settled in my life.

Now, I have a job and make money so, I'm able to support my family not only my parents but also my fiance.

I can't tell I'm a good man now but, I'm pretty sure I'll be better person to achive the goal.

 

Oh, that was my persoal goals.  As for the goals in my career, I've set learning English and getting learned for software knowledge to start my new career abroad. 

 

What would you like to accomplish in your career?

 

Actually, I've been working in current company for 7 years. I would like to move to United states to be in a bigger world.

 

 

사실 수업 자체는 교재에 기반하여 대답하는게 전부이다.

 

내용이 모두 나와있어서 문장을 만들어 보는 연습을 하는건데

15분의 짧은 수업이다 보니

이런저런 표현을 따로 만들어 보는게 정말 필요할 것 같다.

 

전화 영어라는게..

감을 잃지 않기 위한 발버둥일 뿐

정말 공부는 따로 치열하게 해 줘야 하는 것 같다..ㅠ
