[Expression] Drop it off: '~를 맡겨놓고 가다' 를 영어로

어딘가에 들러서  물건을 맡겨놓는다는 말을 하고싶을 때 사용하는 표현이다.

 

예문

- I will drop my car off at the garage on my way to go home. 

집에가는 길에 정비소에 차를 맡기고 갈거야

- I dropped my laundry off at the laundry in front of my apartment at 8 o'clock.

8시에 아파트 앞에있는 세탁소에 내 빨래를 맡겼어.

 

세탁소에 빨래를 맡기는 경우 아래와 같은 표현도 사용 가능하다.

1. take one's clothes to a laundry.

==> I'll take mom's clothes to a laundry.

==> I took my coats to a laundry.

2. take one's wash done at a laundry.

==> I took our wash done at a laundry.
